Curt Henning"Mr. Perfect" found dead...
'Mr Perfect' Curt Hennig was found dead earlier today in Tampa, FL., in a hotel room reports 1wrestling.com . He was in town for a wrestling show to be promoted by Jimmy Hart. No cause of death has been reported yet. Hennig was born on March 28th 1958 and made his pro wrestling debut in 1979 after he was trained by the legendary Verne Gange. Although spending most of his career in WWE, he never won the WWE Heavyweight title but Hennig's title resume` is impressive nonetheless. Twice Pacific Coast tag team champ in 1983, Pacific Coast champion in 1983, AWA tag team champion in 1986, AWA champion in 1987, two time WWE Intercontinental champion in 1990 and WCW US champ in 1997. He made his return to WWE at the Royal Rumble last year for what was supposed to be a one time shot but Hennig impressed officials and was signed to a contract. The Minnesota native recently was part of NWA:TNA after he was fired from World Wrestling Entertainment last year for picking a brawl with Brock Lesnar on a flight from England to the United States and for his behavior on the same flight. Hennig often bragged on TV that he took Lesnar 'down' at 30,000 feet in the air although other eyewitnesses on the flight say otherwise. Our condolences go out to the Hennig family.

Austin Speaks out...
Austin was upset with how WWE handled his departure when The Rock returned from Hollywood and talked trash on him on TV, saying that those who don't love the business should get out. Austin felt disrespected and believed that Rock should've not done the promo. Austin was angry with the fact that Rock mad mouthed him on TV after helping him to stardom.
Backstage, there is talk of Austin facing Rock at WrestleMania 19. However, word has it that if Rock got his way, he'd choose to wrestle Goldberg at WrestleMania instead. However, as of yesterday, Goldberg is still not signed with WWE.
Austin believed that the company changed after his return from neck surgery. Apparently, Austin was upset with the way Vince McMahon treated him. When Austin returned back to action, he was treated a lot less delicately and was often ignored by WWE management. Austin went on to note that Triple H was playing a "goofier character" and yet when he returned from his injury, he was being pushed as the toughest man in the company.
SmackDown! Notes.. RVD/Kane relationship...
Last night's SmackDown! overnight rating came in low at 4.1. It appears to be due to the fact that there was a high-scoring Michael Jackson special on ABC's "20/20", which averaged a 16.2 rating with a 25 share according to Zap2It. UPN's 4.1 from SmackDown! was enough, however, to put the network in fourth place for the overnights, above Fox (which ran a Joe Millionaire re-run) and WB. Check back later tonight for the final SmackDown! rating.
Thanks to WDC reader S.K. for the following
RVD did a radio interview with KRZR in Fresno, Calif., the site of Saturday's Raw house show. RVD talked about how hard traveling is. The DJ then asked him how ugly Kane is under the mask. RVD just laughed. The DJ then asked what the most painful move Van Dam has ever received, and he said a chairshot from Balls Mahoney from his ECW days was the most painful he's ever had. The DJ then asked what his favorite match in the WWE has been so far, and RVD said it's probably his first PPV match at Invasion against Jeff Hardy. Then they just hyped the house show for this weekend. Van Dam stated that he and Kane will be teaming up against 3 Minute Warning and that it's the first time they will wrestle each other.
